Panorama NYC 2018 | #OOTD
Hi friends!
As some of you may know, last week I attended the Panorama Music Festival in New York City. This year was my second year at this new festival started by the same company that runs Coachella in California. Unlike last year, where I only attended the music festival on Friday, this year I went for two days (can you say "upgrade"!), Friday and Saturday, and had a blast on both days. And as we all know, music festivals aren't only for enjoying your favorite bands, but also rockin' your most kicka** outfits (which I did). So, without further ado, here are my looks for, and a review of, Panorama 2018:
Friday
Tank: H&M / Shirt: Buffalo Exchange / Shorts: Thrifted Zara / Fanny Pack: Depop / Sunnies: Chinatown Street Vendor / Earrings: (Left) Unknown, (Right) Buffalo Exchange / Sneakers: Adidas Stan Smith
On this day, I decided to channel the 80s and 90s era with some pop of color, funky patterns, mix and match accessories, and wild denim. Friday was super fun, but also really short because we were evacuated from the festival because of a storm warning. This meant we didn't get a lot of pics and we also didn't get to see our favorite acts (sorry we missed you The Weeknd). On the bright side, we got to see Daniel Caesar perform as well as check out the art installations and activities (I got my aura read and it changed from the last time I did a reading which was cool!). And bonus: we got IHop after, so I would say that it was an a-okay day.
Saturday
Dress: Goodwill / Top: GreenBoxShop / Belt: L Train Vintage / Fanny Pack: Depop / Sunnies: (Borrowed) Sister's / Earrings: Claire's / Sneakers: Adidas Stan Smith
On Saturday, I decided to rock a hip-hop and country look, as I like to call it. Mostly, I wanted to be comfortable because I got my period and had cramps (nothing is TMI on my blog). Instead of just wearing my thrifted denim dress, I decided to add this tee on top of it (channeling last year's performer, Frank Ocean) to give the look a bit of an edge. I paired this look with the same bag and shoes from yesterday for comfort and accessibility. Unlike Friday, Saturday was clear and sunny and didn't have a storm warning, so we got to enjoy the entire festival without fear of an evacuation. However, with so many good acts that day, it meant we didn't have time to spend on taking outfit pics and doing a lot of activities (which is fine with me). We got to see Japanese Breakfast, Sigrid, St. Vincent, SZA, Gucci Mane, and The Queen, Janet Jackson, to name a few. It was a jam-packed and super fun day – great way to end our 2-day festival adventure.
